A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE
RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL
PARKING AUTHORITY RELATING TO A PROPOSED
CONVENTION COMPLEX PARKING GARAGE; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCKS
ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. The convention complex parking garage to be
situated below the surface on lands situated between the Robinson
Auditorium and the old State Capitol, as planned and recommended
by the Little Rock Municipal Parking Authority, is hereby accepted
and approved.
SECTION 2 . In keeping with the provisions of Section 39174
of the Code of Ordinances, notice is hereby given that the City and
the Parking Authority will proceed with plans to construct, operate
and maintain the said convention complex parking garage in keeping
with plans and specifications on file in the office of the City
Manager. Provided, however, private enterprise is hereby encouraged
and offered the opportunity to construct , own, operate and maintain
said facilities . Any person, firm, or corporation desiring to provide
and operate the facilities as private enterprise, must give notice to
the City Manager of such intent within ten (10) days of the adoption
of this Resolution.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
