A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
OBTAIN AN AIR RIGHTS LEASE FROM THE ARKANSAS
STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION OVER A TRACT OF LAND
SITUATED WITHIN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF LA HARPE
BOULEVARD; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES :
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to obtain an air rights lease for a term no less than
fifty (50) years from the Arkansas State Highway Commission over
a tract of land situated within the right-of-way of La Harpe
Boulevard, in the City of Little Rock, lying east of the Broadway
Bridge and north of Blocks 99 and 100 of the Original City of
Little Rock, sufficient in amount , areawise, to accomodate the
construction of a hotel-convention center complex as proposed,
0 the plans of which are on file in the office of the City Manager,
together with a ramp roadway from La Harpe overpass to serve and
afford access , vehicular wise , to the planned hotel and convention
facilities .
SECTION 20 This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption .
