A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE FOR AND ON BEHALF
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK A CORRECTION
DEED TO THE LAND DESCRIBED IN AND SOLD
PURSUANT TO AUTHORITY OF RESOLUTION NO.
3 , 996 OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, ADOPTED
MAY 20, 1968; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, pursuant to authority
of Resolution No. 3 ,996 , adopted May 20 , 1968 , conveyed to the Arkansas
Foundry Company, a corporation organized and existing under and by
virtue of the laws of the State of Arkansas, a tract of land situates:
in the Little Rock Port Industrial Park and the land conveyed was
described with relation to proposed street and road rights-of-ways; and
WHEREAS, the Arkansas Foundry Company finds it necessary that the
said tract of land be described specifically and by metes and bounds
with relation to land lines; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors is desirous of honoring the
request of Arkansas Foundry Company for such Correction Deed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed, acting for and on behalf of the City of Little Rock, to
execute a Correction Deed in favor of Arkansas Foundry Company, Grantee,
to that certain tract of land described in Resolution No. 3,996, dated
May 20, 1968, and to describe the said tract by metes and bounds des-
cription with relation to land lines rather than to proposed street and
road rights-of-ways, which Correction Deed shall be in form and sub-
stance as follows :

CORRECTION DEED
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS :
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
on the 20th day of May, 1968, by Resolution No. 3996, authorized and
directed the Mayor, together with the City Clerk, to convey to
Arkansas Foundry Company, a corporation organized and existing
under and by virtue of the laws of the State of Arkansas, property
in the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas; an4
WHEREAS, Martin Borchert and Pauline G. Beeson, Mayor and
City Clerk, respectively, of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, a
municipal corporation organized and existing under the laws of the
State of Arkansas, for the consideration of the sum of $87,000.00
and other good and sufficient considerations, cash in hand paid by
Arkansas Foundry Company, a corporation, did on the 23rd day of
December, 1968, execute a Warranty Deed for the consideration
therein mentioned, conveying certain lands situated in the County
of Pulaski and State of Arkansas, described as follows, to-wit:
A parcel of land situated in Ek, SEA, Section 16,
Township 1 North, Range 11 West, Of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the proposed east
right-of-way line of Fourche Dam Pike and the south
right-of-way line of proposed Lindsey Road; thence
south 01°30 '52" West along said proposed east right-
of-way of Fourche Dam Pike 1000.0 feet; thence
South 88°29 '08" East 900.00 feet; thence North 01°
30' 52" East 1146.78 feet to a point on said south
right-of-way of proposed Lindsey Road; thence South
78'343 '34" West along Bald South right-of-way 662.45
feet; thence North 88 31 '06" West along said south
right-of-way 253.99 feet to the point of beginning,
and containing 21.75 acres, more or less.
Which said Warranty Deed is recorded in the office of the Circuit
Clerk and Ex-officio Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, in Deed
Book 1058 at page 99; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable that there be a more specific
description of the lands conveyed;

NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, in
consideration of the premises , hereby grants, bargains, sells and
conveys unto the said Arkansas Foundry Company, its successors and
assigns forever, the following lands lying and being situated in
the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, to-wit :
A parcel of land situated in the Ell, SEA, Section 16,
Township 1 North, Range 11 West , of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, and more particularly described as follows :
Commencing at the NW corner of the NE4, SEk Section 16
Township 1 North, Range 11 West , thence S 1630 '52" West
422 . 72 feet along the West line of the NEB SEA, Section
16 ; thence S 88°31 '06" East 73.47 feet to the point of
beginning; thence Southwesterly along the arc of a curve
to the left 78.51 feet , said curve having a radius of
50.00 feet and a tangent of 49. 97 feet ; thence South
Ol°30 ' 52" West 950.03 feet to a point; thence South 88°
29 '08" East 900 .00 feet to a point ; thence North 01°
30 ' 52" East 1146. 78 feet to a point ; thence South 78°
43 ' 34" West 662,45 feet to a point ; thence North 88°31 '06"
West 204.02 feet to the point of beginning, said parcel
containing 21. 74 acres, more or less,
together with the right and privilege of use for the purpose of
Ingress and egress to the above described property over the following
described property situated in the County of Pulaski, State of
Arkansas, to-wit :
A parcel of land situated in the NEB SEA, Section 16,
Township 1 North, Range 11 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas ,
and more particularly described as follows :
Commencing at the NW corner of the NEB, SE', Section 16,
Township 1 North, Range 11 West , thence South 01030 ' 52"
West 422.72 feet along the West line of the NE4 SE', Section
16, to a point ; thence South 88°31 '06" East 73.47 feet to
the point of beginning; thence South 88°31 '06" East 204.02
feet to a point ; thence North 78°43 ' 34" East 662 .45 feet to
a point ; thence North 11°16 ' 27" West 100 .00 feet to a
point ; thence South 78°43 ' 34" West 495 .64 feet to the point
of a tangency of a curve to the right and a radius of
1392 .40 feet and a tangent of 155 . 63 feet ; thence North-
westerly 309.98 feet along the arc of said curve to a point ;
thence North 88°31 '06" West 37. 29 feet to the point of
tangency of a curve to the right with a radius of 50.00
feet and a tangent of 50. 91 feet ; thence Northwesterly
78. 57 feet along said curve to a point ; thence South 1°
30 ' 52" West 200 .89 feet to a• point of tangency of a curve
of 50.00 feet radius and a tangent of 49.97 feet ; thence
Northeasterly 78 . 51 feet along the arc of said curve to the
point of beginning.

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same unto the said Arkansas Foundry
Company, and unto its successors and assigns forever, together with
all and singular the tenements, appurtenances and hereditaments
thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining.
Grantor hereby covenants with the said Arkansas Foundry
Company that it will forever warrant and defend the title to said
lands hereinabove conveyed in fee against the lawful claims of any
and all other persons whomsoever.
And the said Grantee, for itself, its successors and assigns,
hereby covenants, promises and agrees with Grantor, its successors
and assigns , that the protective covenants, as provided in the
Warranty Deed dated December 23, 1968, and recorded in the office
of the Circuit Clerk and Ex-officio Recorder of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, in Deed Book 1058 at page 99, shall attach to and run
with the land hereby conveyed and the same may be enforced as
provided for in said covenants.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, a
municipal corporation, has caused these presents to be signed by
its Mayor and its City Clerk and its corporate seal to be hereto
affixed this the day of , 1970.
