A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT ON
A DUMP TRUCK; CANCELLING THE CONTRACT
PREVIOUSLY AWARDED BY RESOLUTION NO.
4 , 366 ; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , Resolution No . 4 ,366 dated April 20 , 1970 , awarding
a contract for the purchase of a five cubic yard dump truck with a one
cubic yard overhead loader to Cliff Peck Chevrolet; and
WHEREAS , the City is informed that Cliff Peck Chevrolet
cannot make delivery in accordance with the bidding specifications and
bid proposal .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . Due to the inability of Cliff Peck Chevrolet to
make delivery of the dump truck in accordance with a contract awarded by
Resolution No. 4 , 366 dated April 20 , 1970 , that part of said Resolution
is hereby cancelled and a contract awarded to the next low bidder as
follows :

SECTION 2 . Upon delivery of the aforementioned item, complying
in all respects with the bidding specifications and bid proposal , the City
Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized and directed to
Iexecute the necessary warrant or warrants in payment of said purchase
price.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
