A RESOLUTION GRANTING TO THE CHICAGO,
ROCK ISLAND AND PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY
A 30 DAY EXTENSION ON THE RIGHT-OF-WAY
FRANCHISE GRANTED SAID COMPANY BY
ORDINANCE #2625 DATED NOVEMBER 24 , 1919 ;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . The right-of-way franchise granted the Chicago ,
Rock Island and Pacific Railroad Company by Ordinance No. 2625 dated
November 24 , 1919 , is hereby extended for 30 days so that negotiations
may continue between the City and Railroad Company for a new franchise
agreement.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
