4377 RESOLUTION NO. 4,377
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
A PARCEL OF LAND FROM McGEORGE CONTRACTING
COMPANY , INC. , CONTAINING 40 ACRES , MORE
OR LESS , AND .NEEDED AS AN ADDITION TO
GILLAM PARK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . The City Manager is hereby authorized to proceed
with the acquisition from McGeorge Contracting Company , Inc. , the
following parcel of property to be used as an addition to Gillam Park
and pay the sum of $48 ,621 . 60 for said purchase to the person or persons
entitled thereto according to the opinion of the City Attorney so as to
vest full legal title to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas :
Tracts 1-16 inclusive of the subdivision of the
South half of the SW fractional one-fourth, east
of the Quapaw line , in Section 23 , Township 1
North , Range 12 West, all lying and being situate
in the County of Pulaski , State of Arkansas .
SECTION 2 . The amount of the purchase price herein provided
shall be paid from those funds received from Arkansas Pit and Quarry
Company on the sale of certain lands belonging to the City of Little
Rock; said sale being authorized by Resolution No . 4370 , dated April 20 ,
1970.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
