A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING CONGRATULATIONS
AND COMMENDING THE FIRST MISSIONARY
BAPTIST CHURCH OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
ON ITS 125TH ANNIVERSARY.

WHEREAS, the First Pissionary Ba p
Gaines Street, Little Rock, Arkansas , will , on April 26 , 1970 , observe
and celebrate its 125th anniversary, having been founded and organized
on April 26 , 1845; and
WHEREAS , throughout these many years since her founding,
the said Church, as an institution , has served and enriched the lives
of untold numbers , both within and without the membership of the said
Church.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The First Missionary Baptist Church, 7th and
Gaines Street, Little Rock , Arkansas , and its membership are hereby
commended and congratulated in the observance of its 125th anniversary
to occur April 26 , 1970 .
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
