A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A RIGHT OF WAY PERMIT GRANTING THE LITTLE ROCK
MUNICIPAL WATER WORKS PERMISSION TO LAY, CONSTRUCT,
MAINTAIN AND REPAIR WATER MAINS UPON CERTAIN PROPERTY
SITUATED IN BOYLE PARK IN LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute a Right of Way Permit granting permission to the
Little Rock Municipal Water works to lay, construct, maintain
and repair water mains upon certain property situated in Boyle
Park in Little Rock, Arkansas, which property is described in
Section 2 hereof.
Section 2. The form and substance of the Right of Way
Permit to be executed by the Mayor and City Clerk is as follows:
RIGHT OF WAY PERMIT
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
THAT the CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, Grantor, a
municipal corporation, by Haco Boyd, its Mayor, and Jane
Czech, its City Clerk, for and in consideration of the benefits
to be received by it, does hereby grant to the BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS of the LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL WATER WORKS, for
the use and benefit of the Little Rock Municipal Water Works
system, Grantee, permission to lay, construct, maintain and
repair water mains , whether one or more, and appurtenances
thereto, now and at different times in the future, upon the
following described real property situated in Pulaski County,
Arkansas , the land subject to this permission being a strip
ten feet in width, five feet on either side of a line
described as follows :
Begin at a point 20 feet North of the Southwest
corner of the NW, of the SWk of Section 12, Township
1 North, Range 13 West, and run thence East parallel
to the South line thereof 211.46 feet; thence
deflecting left 90 degrees 00 minutes for 5 feet;
thence deflecting right 18 degrees 15 minutes for
121.49 feet; thence deflecting right 15 degrees 21
minutes 30 seconds for 168.22 feet; thence deflecting
right 14 degrees 35 minutes for 260.65 feet; thence
deflecting left 7 degrees 00 minutes 30 seconds for
63.65 feet; thence deflecting left 11 degrees 37
minutes 30 seconds for 293.45 feet; thence deflecting
right 14 degrees 43 minutes for 147.70 feet; thence
deflecting right 12 degrees 03 minutes for 187 .66
feet; thence deflecting right 12 degrees 40 minutes
for 126.55 feet; thence deflecting right 5 degrees
30 minutes for 100 feet; thence deflecting right 11
degrees 00 minutes for 100 feet; thence deflecting
left 84 degrees 30 minutes for 244.76 feet to a
point on the North line of the NEk of the SW3 of
said Section 12, said point being 8.5 feet East of
the Northwest corner of the said NEk of the SW4.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, the name of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, is hereunto affixed by its Mayor and its seal
affixed by its City Clerk, this day of January, 1970.
