4296 RESOLUTION NO. 4,296
A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING THE IMPORTANCE OF DECEMBER 6,
1969, TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS AS WELL AS THE
ENTIRE STATE; EXPRESSING THE HEARTFELT DESIRE OF THIS CITY
FOR THE SUCCESS OF THE RAZORBACKS ON THAT DATE; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, On December 6, 1969, the State of Arkansas will be
displayed to the Nation when the University of Arkansas Razorbacks
confront the Texas Longhorns at Fayetteville, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Board to lend its complete
support to the fine group of athletes which will represent the State on
that date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The support of the City of Little Rock is hereby
extended to the University of Arkansas Football Team in their quest for
a National Championship when they meet the University of Texas in
Fayetteville on December 6, 1969.
