A RESOLUTION FIXING A DATE FOR A HEARING ON A PROPOSED
ORDINANCE TO VACATE, ABANDON AND CLOSE PORTIONS OF
CERTAIN STREETS AND ALLEYS LOCATED IN DUNSCOMB'S WEST
TWELFTH STREET ADDITION, KENNILWORTH ADDITION , COX'S
SUBDIVISION, JOSEPHINE ADDITION, AND WEST END SUBDIVISION,
ALL BEING ADDITIONS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, PULASKK
COUNTY, ARKANSAS , IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF
THE URBAN RENEWAL PLAN FOR UNIVERSITY PARK URBAN RENEWAL
PROJECT, PROJECT NO. ARK R-51 .
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Litle Rock,
Arkansas , and Lewis S . Rauton have requested the Little Rock Board
of Directors to vacate, abandon and close portions of certain
streets and alleys located in Dunscomb ' s West Twelfth Street
Addition, Kennilworth Addition, Cox's Subdivision, Josephine Addi-
tion, and West End Subdivision, all being Additions to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas , and within the bounds of the University
Park Urban Renewal Project , Project No . ARK R-51, as are described
in the proposed Ordinance vacating, abandoning and closing same
and the Plat attachedthereto, and have alleged that they are the
sole two owners of the lands abutting upon same ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
Section 1. That the 5th day of January , 1970 at 7:30
o'clock p .m. , in the Chambers of the Board of Directors is the
date and time fixed hereby for the hearing upon said proposed
Ordinance .
Section 2 . That the City Clerk of Little Rock, Arkansas , give
notice of such hearing by publication, once a week for two (2) con-
secutive weeks , in some newspaper published in the County and having
a general circulation in the City, sting in said Notice the names
of petitioners, a description of the streets and alleys to be vacated,

abandoned and closed, and advising all persons that on the date
named above, the Board of Directors will consider said proposed
Ordinance and determine whether said streets and alleys should
be vacated.
