A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE WITH THE ARKANSAS
REVENUE DEPARTMENT BUILDING COMMISSION
AN AMENDMENT TO THE EXISTING LEASE AGREE-
MENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND
ARKANSAS REVENUE DEPARTMENT ON CERTAIN
PROPERTIES USED BY THE CITY FOR MATERIAL
YARD.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas an amendment to a lease with the Arkansas Revenue
Department Building Commission which shall be in form and sub-
stance as follows, to-wit:
AMENDMENT TO LEASE
This AMENDMENT TO LEASE entered into by and
between the ARKANSAS REVENUE DEPARTMENT BUILDING
COMMISSION, hereinafter called LESSEE, for the purpose
of amending a certain Lease executed by and between
these parties on the 29th day of December, 1967, (and
extended by mutual agreement to June 30, 1969, on
December 4, 1968) . The Lease concerned the property
on which the Lessee's material yard is located on the
following described premises in the City of Little Rock,
County of Pulaski , State of Arkansas , to-wit:
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, and 12, Block 23,
and Lots 7, 8, and all of that part of Lot 9
lying South of the right-of-way of Chicago,
Rock Island and Pacific Railway, all in
Block 26, all in Capitol Hill Extension Addi-
tion to the City of Little Rock.
1. The property rental shall be increased by the
amount of One Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($1,000.00) per
month, which shall be payable monthly in advance.

2. This Amendment shall be effective as of
July 1, 1969, and shall remain in effect for one (1)
year to June 30, 1970.
3. Lessee reserves the right, and that right is
hereby granted by Lessor, to cancel the original Lease
and this Amendment thereto upon Thirty Days Notice in
advance of the date Lessee desires to cancel and such
notice is given in writing. No such right is reserved
to cancel by Lessor.
4. All other terms and conditions of the original
Lease (and the extension thereto) shall remain unchanged.
