A RESOLUTION COMMENDING MEMBERS OF THE
CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND SUB-
COMMITTEE ON THE MATTER OF MINORITY
HOUSING PROVIDED FOR BY RESOLUTION 3962 '
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, the Citizens Advisory Committee and sub-
committee on minority housing was established on April 5, 1968
by Resolution 3962 for the purpose of advising and counseling the
Board of Directors in any and all areas recommended by the
Department of Housing and Urban Development of the Federal
Government; and
WHEREAS, the said Advisory Committee and sub-committee,
through the imagination, initiative and energies of the membership
thereof, have contributed measurably to a constructive work
program for the City in the area of Community Development and thus
rendered yeoman service in its area of responsibility' and
WHEREAS, the Citizens Advisory Committee and sub-
committee have served their purpose, they are hereby abolished
and it is the desire of the Board of Directors to offer commendation
to the membership thereof for a job well done.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. All members on the Citizens Advisory Committee
and sub-committee on minority housing authorized and appointed
pursuant to the authority of Resolution 3962 and amendatory
Resolutions thereto are hereby commended for a service rendered
to the community culminating in the upgrading of community life
for all residents , May its individuals who gave of their time,
talents and energies unselfishly in this endeavor reflect upon it
in the years to come with pride and satisfaction in a job well done,

SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption,
