4187 RESOLUTION NO. 4,187
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE "GOOD SPIRIT SINGING UNION"
IN ITS EFFORT TO SPONSOR PUBLIC HOUSING IN THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK.
WHEREAS, it is contemplated that with the activity of the Model
Cities program in the City of Little Rock new housing will be necessary on
the East side of the City; and
WHEREAS, the "Good Spirit Singing Union", as a non-profit
organization, is endeavoring to sponsor private housing for lower income
families on the East side of the City of Little Rock as authorized under
Section 236 of the Federal Housing Act of 1968; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desires to commend and endorse
the efforts of Good Spirit Singing Union in its undertaking.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Good Spirit Singing Union, as a non-profit
organization sponsor for private housing for lower income families to be
provided on the East side of the City of Little Rock under authority of
Section 236 of 1968 Federal Housing Act, is hereby commended for its
interest and effort in this undertaking and its endeavor in this respect
is endorsed by the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
