A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY MANAGER AND HIS STAFF TO PREPARE THE
NECESSARY LEGISLATION TO CALL AN ELECTION
ON THE LEVY OF A CITY VEHICLE LICENSE TAX
PURSUANT TO THE ARKANSAS STATUTES . AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . The City Manager and his staff are hereby
authorized and directed to research the question of the feasibility
of a city vehicle license tax: to make recommendation in connection
therewith to this body' and to prepare the necessary legislation
to call an election on the levy of a city vehicle license tax in
accordance with Arkansas statutory law,
SECTION 2 , This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
