A RESOLUTION GRANTING A FRANCHISE TO THE
FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF LITTLE ROCK FOR THE
PLANTING OF TREES WITHIN THE PUBLIC RIGHT-
OF-WAY PURSUANT TO AUTHORITY OF SECTION
36-34 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , the First National Bank is completing construction
of improvements on property owned by it in Block 83, Original City
of Little Rock, and desires to landscape same according to plans
and drawings submitted to the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, the First National Bank of Little Rock has
complied in all respects with all provisions of Section 36-34 of
the Code of Ordinances and it is the desire of the Board of Dir-
ectors to grant a franchise for the planting of trees within said
right-of-way.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. Under and pursuant to authority of the provisions
of Section 36-34 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little
Rock a franchise is hereby granted to the First National Bank of
Little Rock within the public right-of-way for the purpose of
planting crape myrtle trees in accordance with plans and drawings
pertaining thereto on file in the Department of Community Develop-
ment subject, however, to the approval of the Department of
Community Development and public utilities affected as to the number '
and specific location of said trees to be situated within said
public right-of-way adjacent to property identified as adjacent
to Lots 10, 11, 12, 1 and 2, Block 83, Original City of Little
Rock.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
