A RESOLUTION FIXING A DATE FOR HEARING ON A PETITION
TO VACATE, ABANDON AND CLOSE ARTHUR STREET BETWEEN
WEST FIFTH STREET AND A POINT 310 FEET SOUTH OF WEST
FIFTH STREET IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS , Little Rock Land Company and Parkview Christian
Church have filed with the Little Rock Board of Directors
their Petition praying that Arthur Street between West Fifth
Street and a point 310 feet South of West Fifth Street in the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as more particularly described
in said Petition and the plat attached thereto, be vacated,
abandoned and closed, and have alleged that they are the sole
owners of the lands abutting upon same;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF LITTLE ROQZ, ARKANSAS :
Section 1. That the 18th day of December, 1967, at 7:30
o'clock p .m. , in the chambers of the Board of Directors is
the date and time fixed for the hearing on said Petition.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk of Little Rock, Arkansas ,
give notice of such hearing by publication, once a week for two
(2) consecutive weeks , in some newspaper published in the County
and having a gene ral circulation in the City, stating in said
Notice the names of Petitioners , a description of the streets
to be vacated, and advising all persons that on the dated
named above, the Board of Directors will hear the Petition and
determine whether said streets should be vacated.
