A RESOLUTION WAIVING THE PROVISIONS OF
ORDINANCE NO. 11, 730 AND ORDINANCES
THEREIN AMENDED IN FAVOR OF THE FEDERAL
GOVERNMENT'S PLAN FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE
ARKANSAS RIVER; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. All prospective development of the water
front area along the Arkansas River affected and referred to in
Ordinance No. 11, 730 and Ordinances thereby amended particularly
in regard to the Metropolitan Area Parks (2AG Rebsamen to Maumelle
and west) and all other similar Ordinances shall be subordinated
to and waived for the benefit of development of the Arkansas River
by the Federal Government in the opnstruction of the Arkansas River
Project and in particular the acquisition of flowage easements.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
