A RESOLUTION CONCURRING WITH THE PORT
AUTHORITY IN ITS RECOMMENDATION TO ACCEPT
THE OFFER OF SALE FROM MARY J. RAINES AND
SAMUEL L. RAINES OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
SITUATED IN LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, TO BE
USED FOR INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT IN CONN-
ECTION WITH THE PORT OF LITTLE ROCK; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors does hereby concur
with the recommendation of the Little Rock Port Authority
to accept the offer of sale submitted by Mary J. Raines and
Samuel L. Raines of certain real property situated in Pulaski
County, Arkansas, to be used as a part of an industrial park
to be developed in connection with and as a part of the Port
of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. The said offer to sell is on file with the
Port Authority of the City of Little Rock and Real Estate
Office of the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 3. All persons responsible in the premises in
both the Port Authority of the City of Little Rock and the
City of Little Rock generally are authorized to proceed in
the preparation of the instruments and documents needed for
the consummation of the purchase by the City of Little Rock
of the lands identified by the offer to sell in keeping with
the terms and conditions of said offer.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
