A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF PULASKI
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR SLURRY SEAL TREAT-
MENT OF STREETS WITHIN THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly published accord-
ing to law and bids were received pursuant thereto for the
application of approximately Five Hundred Thousand (500,000)
square yards of slurry seal to be applied to the streets within
the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bid
was the bid of Pulaski Construction Company of Little Rock,
Arkansas, in the unit price of $. 112 (11.2 cents) per square
yard applied, which, projected to the estimated square yards
necessary, calculates to a bid of Fifty Six Thousand Six
Hundred Seventy Two and 78/100 Dollars ($56, 672. 78); and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock to accept the bid of Pulaski Con-
struction Company and to authorize payment for the work and
materials when and as due.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The bid of Pulaski Construction Company
of Little Rock, Arkansas, in the unit price of $. 112 (11.2
cents) per square yard, applied as directed by the City of
Little Rock, for approximately Five Hundred Thousand (500,000)
square yards is hereby accepted.
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance
are hereby authorized and directed, upon completion of the
work by Pulaski Construction Company in accordance with the
specifications and bidding instruments, to pay for said work

and materials by issuing the necessary warrant or warrants
in payment for said work.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
