A RESOLUTION CONCURRING WITH THE PORT
AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
TO EXERCISE OPTIONS FOR THE PURCHASE
OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO BE USED
FOR THE PURPOSE OF RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-
WAY SERVING THE PORT OF LITTLE ROCK;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock hereby concurs
with the Port Authority of the City of Little Rock in exercis-
ing options for the purpose of purchasing certain parcels of
real property situated in Pulaski County, Arkansas to be
used for right-of-way for a railroad to serve the Port of
Little Rock. The said property is identified as follows by
parcel numbers and purchase prices as follows : Parcel No. 5,
$8,200.00; Parcel No. 6, $6,000.00 and Parcel No. 4, $8,200.00.
SECTION 2. The full legal description of the
property herein described by parcel number is now and shall
hereafter remain on file in the office of the Real Estate
Department of the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 3. Those officers of the City of Little
Rock responsible in the premises are hereby authorized and
directed to consummate the purchases hereinabove identified
by payment of the purchase prices listed to the person or
persons entitled thereto according to an opinion of the City
Attorney so as to vest full legal title to said property in
the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
