3774 RESOLUTION NO. 3, 774
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BIDS OF
CERTAIN BIDDERS FOR RADIO EQUIPMENT
FOR VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised
and bids received pursuant thereto according to law for
certain radio equipment for use in various departments
of the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive
bids have been determined and it is the desire of the
Board of Directors to authorize the purchase of said
equipment from the lowest responsible and responsive
bidders and to accept the best bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The bids of the respective bidders
in the sums below for the several items of equipment are
hereby accepted and purchase contracts authorized as follows :
ITEM BIDDER PURCHASE PRICE
Six (6) 2-way FM Narrow-Band
Transmitter and Receivers General Electric $3,425.40
Two (2) 2-way Mobile FM Narrow
Band Single Transmitter and
Dual Receiver RCA 1,505.64
SECTION 2. Upon delivery of each of the foregoing
items of equipment complying in all respects with the bidding
specifications and bid proposal the City Manager and Director
of Finance are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
necessary warrant or warrants in payment of the purchase price.

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full
force and effect from and after its adoption.
