A RESOLUTION COMMENDING BRADFORD W. GOVAN, MRS. ROGER
BUTTS AND B. G. ROBERTSON FOR SERVICE AS MEMBERS OF
THE LITTLE ROCK CITIZENS TRAFFIC SAFETY COMMISSION;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Mr. Bradford W. Govan, Mr. B. G. Robertson
and Mrs. Roger Butts have served this City as members of the
Citizens Traffic Safety Commission since January 21, 1963 for both
Mr. Govan and Mr. Robertson and February 15, 1965 for Mrs. Butts;
and
WHEREAS, the influence of the service rendered by this
Commission is readily recognizable in the attitude of the public
generally; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Govan, Mr. Robertson and Mrs. Butts through
their time, efforts and talents have been most influential and
instrumental in the success of the program of the Traffic Safety
Commission.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors acknowledges with
sincere gratitude and appreciation the services to the Community
of Mr. Bradford Govan, Mir. B. G. Robertson and Mrs. Roger Butts
as members of the Citizens Traffic Safety Commission.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby directed to
prepare and deliver an appropriate certificate of appreciation
in fulfillment of the gratitude of the Board of Directors herein
expressed.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
