11879I 0 RESOLUTION NO. 11,879 3 A RESOLUTION TO RENEW ONE OPERATOR PERMIT AND 225 4 TAXICAB VEHICLE PERMITS FOR GREATER LITTLE ROCK 5 TRANSPORTATION SERVICE, LLC (GLRTS) FOR THE PERIOD 6 FROM JANUARY 1, 2005 TO DECEMBER 31, 2005; AND FOR 7 OTHER PURPOSES. 8 9 WHEREAS, the Board of Directors approved one operator permit and 125 10 taxicab vehicle permits for the Greater Little Rock Transportation Service, LLC, 11 ( "GLRTS ") in Little Rock, Arkansas, Resolution No. 11,647 (December 16, 2003), to 12 operate under the names of Black & White Cab Company or Yellow Cab Company, and 13 WHEREAS, the Board of Directors approved one operator permit and 100 14 taxicab vehicle permits for the Pulaski County Transportation Services, LLC, ( "PCTS ") 15 in Little Rock, Arkansas, Resolution No. 11,646 (December 16, 2003), to operate under 16 the names of Capitol Cab and Veterans Cab, and 17 WHEREAS, Pulaski County Transportation Services, LLC merged into Greater 18 Little Rock Transportation Services, LLC, and 19 WHEREAS, GLRTS has properly applied for renewal of these permits for the 20 year 2005, and has established that it is properly insured and in compliance with the 21 City Transportation Code, 22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF 23 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. 24 Section 1. GLRTS is granted a renewal for one operator permit and 225 taxicab 25 vehicle permits for the period from January 1, 2005, to December 31, 2005, to be 26 operated under the names Black & White Cab Company, Yellow Cab Company, Capitol 27 Cab Company and Veterans Cab Company. These permits are granted for one year but if there is a change in the 2 Transportation Code, then the permits will be brought back to the Board to be made 3 compliant with the new changes. 4 Section 3. Severability. In the event any portion of this resolution is declared or 5 adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not 6 affect the remaining portions of this resolution, which shall remain in full force and 7 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not 8 originally a part of this resolution. 9 Section 4. Repealer.
