A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF ARKANSAS
BRIDGE STRUCTURES, INC. , FOR ONE COMPLETE
PRECAST SLAB BRIDGE FOR USE BY THE STREET
DEPARTMENT AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE THERE-
OF AND PAYMENT THEREFOR; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation to bid for material identified
by this Resolution has been legally published; and
WHEREAS, bids have been received and opened pursuant
thereto; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desire to award a
contract on said bids to the lowest responsible and responsive
bidder therefor which in this instance is Arkansas Bridge
Structures, Inc. , in the amount of $2,053.91.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The bid of Arkansas Bridge Structures,
Inc. , in the amount of $2,053.91 for one complete precast
concrete slab bridge in accordance with specifications for
bidding and bid proposal and for use at 18th and Jackson
Streets in this City is hereby accepted and the City Manager
is hereby authorized to purchase same.
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance
upon receipt of the material above described in compliance
with the specifications and bid proposal are hereby authorized
and directed to issue the necessary warrant or warrants thereof.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
