A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT ON BIDS FOR
PURCHASE OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL EQUIPMENT BASED ON
CERTAIN BIDS RECEIVED IN 1966; PROVIDING FOR
PAYMENT THEREFOR FROM 1966 BUDGET FUNDS ENCUMBERED
IN THE YEAR 1966; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Econolite, the successful bidder for quantities
of materials and supplies to be used by the Traffic Department in
1966 gave the City the option of buying additional quantity of
said supplies throughout the remainder of the year at their bid
price; and
WHEREAS, the City exercised this option in December of
1966 and encumbered 1966 budget funds to pay for the herein identi-
fied equipment and materials.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. Contracts for the purchase of the following
materials and equipment heretofore ordered in December 1966 is
awarded to the Econolite Company:

SECTION 2. Upon receipt of the above equipment the City
Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized to issue the
necessary warrant or warrants in payment therefor and charge same
to the 1966 budget account of the Traffic Department which funds
were heretofore encumbered in the year 1966.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
