A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS FIXING A
DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON A PETITION TO CLOSE
AND VACATE A PORTION OF ASHLEY STREET BETWEEN
MARKHAM STREET AND LA HARPE BOULEVARD IN THIS CITY.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors is considering under
its general powers the matter of closing and vacating Ashley
Street between Markham Street and La Harpe Boulevard.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That on the 6th day of March
1967 at 7:30 F.M. in the Board Chambers, City Hall, Little
Rock, Arkansas, is the date, time and place fixed for a hearing
on the matter of closing and vacating that portion of Ashley
Street in this City herein identified.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk give notice of such
hearing by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks
is some newspaper published in Pulaski County and having general
circulation in the City of Little Rock stating in said notice
the name of the Petitioner, a description of the portion of
street to be closed and vacated, and advising all persons that
on the date mentioned above the Board will hear the Petition
and determine whether the aforesaid portion of streets and
alleys shall be closed and vacated.
