A RESOLUTION GRANTING A FRANCHISE TO THE FIRST
NATIONAL BANK OF LITTLE ROCK FOR THE PLANTING
AND INSTALLATION OF SHRUBBERY AND TREES WITHIN
THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY PURSUANT TO AUTHORITY
OF SECTION 36-34 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the First National Bank of Little Rock is
completing construction of improvements on Lots 1, 2, and 3,
Block 304, original City of Little Rock and desires to land-
scape the same according to plans and drawings submitted to
the Board of Directors; and
WHEREAS, the First National Bank of Little Rock has
complied in all respects with the provisions of Section 36-34
of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
and it is the desire of this Board of Directors to grant a
franchise to the First National Bank of Little Rock to plant
trees and shrubbery, as planned, within certain public right-
of-way.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. Under and pursuant to authority of the pro-
visions of Section 36-34 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, a franchise for the purpose of planting
trees and/or shrubbery in accordance with plans and drawings
pertaining thereto on file in the Department of Community Develop-
ment of the City of Little Rock is hereby granted to the First
National Bank of Little Rock within the public right-of-way adjacent
to property identified as Lots 1, 2, and 3, Block 304, original
City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
