3665 RESOLUTION NO. 3,665 A RESOLUTION GRANTING ANDREW J. MULLN t DISABILITY RETIREMENT BENEFITS UNDER SECTION 2-24 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, Andrew J. Mullenax was employed by the City of Little Rock as a permanent employee on July 18, 1955, and was continuously employed until September 5, 1963, when he was totally disabled comprising a term of employment of eight years, one month, and seventeen days; and, WHEREAS, under Section 2-24 of the Coda of Ordinances it is the policy of the Board of Directors to continue to pay Andrew J. Mullenax at his rate of pay on the day of his retirement for a period of eight months and four days which in this case may be settled by a lump sum payment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. SECTION 1. The City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized and directed to continue the salary established for Andrew J. Mullenax as of September 5, 1963, and to pay same to Andrew J. Mullenax monthly in the nature of Disability Retirement Benefits for a period of eight months and four days. 2rovided further, that such Disability Benefits may be paid by a lump sum payment in the discretion of the City Manager.
