A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BIDS OF CERTAIN BIDDERS
FOR FIRE HOSE FOR USE BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto on March 25, 1966, according to law for fire
hose to be used by the Fire Department of the City of Little Rock; and,
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bids have
been determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors to
authorize the purchase of said equipment from the lowest responsible
and responsive bidders and to accept the best bids.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that additional fire hose
is needed over the quantity purchased pursuant to authority of
Resolution No. 3543 of the Board of Directors and that such purchase
can be made at the same bid prices quoted and the bids received by
the City on the date of March 25, 1966.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The respective bidders in the sums below for the
several items of equipment set forth are hereby accepted as follows:

1500 Feet-22 In. hose Wright Service Co. $1,560.00 less 2%
discount
1500 Feet-22 In. hose B. F. Goodrich Store $1,560.00 less 2%
discount
SECTION 2. Upon delivery of each of the foregoing items of
equipment the City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized
and directed to execute the necessary warrant or warrants in payment of
the purchase price of equipment furnished which complies with the
bidding specifications and bid proposal in all respects.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
