A. RESOLUTION RESCINDING IN PART, RESO-
LUTION NO. 3496, REVOKING AND RESCINDING
, PURCHASE ORDER FOR GARBAGE TRUCK BEDS;
ACCEPTING THE BID OF STANDARD EQUIPMENT
6: SUPPLY COMPANY FOR FOUR GARBAGE TRUCK
BEDS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 3496, adopted February
7, 1966, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, accepted the bid of Moore Ford Company for four (4)
Pack-Mor Beds to be mounted on certain trucks purchased under
the authority of said resolution, and authorized the purchase of
said Pack-Mor Beds pursuant to which authority a purchase order
was issued to Moore Ford Company; and
WHEREAS, it is determined that the Pack-Mor Bed
proposed for sale to the City of Little Rock does not meet the
specifications for bidding and is inadequate for use within the
City of Little Rock by reason of non-compliance with the speci-
fications; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary, and is the desire of this
Board of Directors, that the purchase order issued to Moore Fora
Company be annulled and rescinded and that to the extent that
Resolution No. 3, 496 authorizes the purchase of four garbage beds
from Moore Ford Company, the same should be annulled and rescinded
and the bid awarded to the next low bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The purchase order issued to Moore Ford
Company for four (4) Pak-Mor Garbage Beds is hereby annulled and
rescinded and Resolution No. 3496, adopted February 7, 1966, to the
extent same authorizes said purchase, is likewise annulled and
rescinded.
SECTION 2. The bid of Standard Equipment x Supply
Company in the sum of $20, 497.00 for four Garwood Garbage Beds to
be mounted on truck chassis furnished by the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, is hereby accepted.
SECTION 3. Upon delivery of the items of equipment
described in Section 2 hereof, complying with the bidding specifi-
cations, the City Manager and Director of Finance are authorized
and directed to issue the necessary warrant or warrants in payment

of the purchase price.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
