A RESOLUTION IN APPRECIATION OF HENRY M.
DeNOBLE FOR SERVICE TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK
WHEREAS, Henry M. DeNoble has served the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, as Director of Traffic and in other capacities
including his capable service for many years as Director of the
Department of Community Development; and
WHEREAS, Henry M. DeNoble, since assuming his duties as
an employee of this City has applied considerable knowledge, excel-
lent judgment and untiring effort in the design, planning and growth
of this City and has provided expert guidance in many areas of develop-
ment to the great benefit of this City and its citizens; and
WHEREAS, it is with deep regret that this Board of Directors
acknowledges his departure to another position befitting of his talent
and outstanding ability and in order to acknowledge and make public
the appreciation of this Board of Directors to Henry M. DeNoble; it is
RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
That Henry M. DeNoble be and is hereby recognized as one of
the truly outstanding and contributing forces in the City of Little
Rock in making possible the growth now occurring within the Greater
Little Rock Area, which growth has been experienced in every facet of
urban development. The professional competence and energy of Henry
M. DeNoble has weighed heavily on this City' s ability to assume the
role of a model city and to take on the aspects of a mature political
entity to the great enhancement of its present and future growth.
That in order to demonstrably provide Henry M. DeNoble with
evidence of the esteem and respect of this Board of Directors, the
City Manager is directed to prepare and present to Henry M. DeNoble
a certificate bearing the signature of each member of this Board of
Directors commending him for his outstanding service to this City.
