A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AN OFFER TO SELL TO THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK CERTAIN PROPERTY AT THE
INTERSECTION OF 22ND AND BOND STREETS FOR
CONSIDERATION OF $38, 500.00; AUTHORIZING PURCHASE
OF SAID LANDS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, certain lands at the intersection of 22nd
and Bond Streets in the City of Little Rock lie within the
proposed right-of-way of certain streets described and
established in the Master Street Plan of the City of Little
Rock, a part of the comprehensive development plan of the
City of Little Rock, and;
WHEREAS, the owner of the said lands has proposed to
develop same but under the said Master Street Plan must
first offer said property for sale to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, and has so offered same for a consideration
of $38, 500.00, and;
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to accept the said
offer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to accept a Warranty Deed from Maurice Mitchell,
Trustee, together with such other instruments of conveyance
as shall be necessary or required to vest in the City of
Little Rock full legal title to certain lands lying at the
intersection of 22nd and Bond Streets more particular
described as follows:

Part of the SW1/4 of the S %-4 of Section 12, T-1-N, R-12-W,
Pulaski County, Arkansas; beginning at a point 57.6'
south and 60' west of the NE Corner of the SW-SE for a
point of beginning; thence running west 448. 1 along
the south right-of-way line of Bond Street to the
easterly right-of-way line of the Missouri-Pacific
Railroad, thence running South 29 degrees 30'E,
960.3' along the easterly right-of-way line of Missouri-
Pacific Railroad to a point on the westerly right-of-

way line of Bond Street, thence running North
4 degrees 33'W, 158.7 ' along the west right-
of-way line of Bond Street, thence running
North 0 degrees 5'W, 679.7 ' along the west right-
of-way line of Bond Street to the point of
beginning; containing 4. 30 acres more or less.
SECTION 2. Upon acquisition of the fee title
to said lands by Warranty Deed the City Manager and Director
of Finance are authorized and directed to issue the necessary
warrant or warrants in payment of the purchase price of
$38, 500.00 to the person or persons appearing to being entitled
thereto according to the opinion of the City Attorney and the
City Clerk is directed to record the said Warranty Deed with
the Circuit Clerk of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
