A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN EASEMENT
TO THE CORPS OF ENGINEERS TO CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING
WITHIN REBSAMEN PARK IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF $20, 500.00 AS THE CONSID-
ERATION THEREFOR; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 3571 adopted May
16, 1966, the City Manager has negotiated an adequate
consideration for a perpetual easement to the Corps of Engineers
for certain lands lying in Rebsamen Park; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Board of Directors
to authorize execution of said perpetual easement upon receipt
of the consideration of $20, 500.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute, for and in behalf of the
City of Little Rock, such instrument or instruments described
as a perpetual easement in favor of the Corps of Engineers
over, on, and across certain described lands lying in
Rebsamen Park in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. Upon execution of the perpetual easement
instruments the City Manager is authorized and directed to
deliver same to the United States Corps of Engineers upon
receipt of the consideration of $20,500.00.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
