A RESOLUTION RESCINDING AND ANNULLING
RESOLUTION 3559 ADOPTED MAY 2, 1966, SAME
BEING A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF
PRISMO SAFETY CORPORATION FOR WHITE AND
YELLOW MARKING COMPOUND; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was advertised for 1,700
gallons of white marking compound and 300 gallons of yellow
marking compound pursuant to which advertisement bids were
received from two bidders; and
WHEREAS, it appeared that Prismo Safety Corporation
was the lowest responsible and responsive bidder and by Reso-
lution 3559 adopted on May 2, 1966, this Board did accept the
bid of Prismo Safety Corporation; and
WHEREAS, upon reconsideration it appears that neither
bid submitted complied fully with the specifications for bidding
and that it is in the interest of the City of Little Rock and
both bidders that Resolution 3559 be rescinded and annulled and
that all bids received for the marking compound be rejected.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Resolution Number 3559 adopted May 2, 1966,
is hereby rescinded and annulled and shall be of no further force
or effect from and after the adoption of this resolution. The
bids of Prismo Safety Corporation and Pulaski Glass and Mirror
Company for white and yellow traffic marking compound are hereby
rejected.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
