A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF ECONOLITE FOR
CERTAIN TRAFFIC SIGNAL EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT, AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was advertised and bids
received pursuant thereto, according to law, for numerous
items of traffic signal equipment for use by the City of
Little Rock, and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bid on
each and every item under the terms of the bid proposal was
the bid of Econolite in the total sum of Sixty Thousand-Eight
Hundred Two Dollars and 27/100 ($60,802. 27) , and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors
of the City of Little nook to accept the bid of Econolite
and authorize payment for the equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE :ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The bid of Econolite in the sum of Sixty
Thousand-Eight Hundred Two Dollars and 27/100 ($60, 802.27 )
is hereby accepted for the following items of traffic signal
equipment for use by the City of Little Rock:

SECTION 2. Upon receipt of all items of equipment
described in Section 1 hereof each complying with the specifi-
cations for bidding, the City Manager and Director of Finance
are hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary warrant
or warrants in payment therefor from budgeted funds or bond
funds, whichever shall have been heretofore encumbered,
appropriated, or set aside for the several items of equipment.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
