A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE WITH THE UNITED STATES OF
AMERICA ACTING THROUGH THE CORPS OF ENGINEERS
FOR THE GRANT OF A PERMANENT EASEMENT TO CERTAIN
LANDS CONTAINED IN REBSAMEN PARK AND KNOWN AS
UTAH POINT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to undertake and complete negotiations with the
United States of America acting by and through the Corps of
Engineers for the conveyance of a permanent easement to the
United States of America over and across certain lands con-
tained in Rebsamen Park, more specifically known and identified
as Utah Point, and to report to this Board of Directors all
pertinent facts and circumstances pertaining to said easement
upon completion and exhaustion of negotiations.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
