RESOLUTION NO. 3,538
A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE DISABILITY
RETIREMENT BENEFITS UNDER SECTION 2-24
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK TO LONNIE HENTHORNE; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 3382, adopted
August 16, 1965, the City of Little Rock acknowledged dis-
ability retirement due Lonnie Henthorne under Section 2-24
of the Code of Ordinances ; and,
WHEREAS, disability retirement has been paid to Lon-
nie Henthorne through March 4, 1966 ; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Board of Directors
to continue the payment of disability retirement to Lonnie
Henthorne for the full term of such payments through May 27 ,
1967, subject to certain deductions and provisions ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIREC-
TORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The salary received by Lonnie Henthorne
on the effective date of his disability retirement, same be-
ing Three Hundred Fifty Five and No/100 Dollars ($355.00) per
month, shall hereafter be paid to Lonnie Henthorne through
May 27, 1967, less a sum equal to the mutual retirement pay-
ments hereafter paid to Lonnie Henthorne under the non-uniform
employees' retirement plan of the City of Little Rock, and
i less further a sum equal to the disability retirement benefits
which shall hereafter be received by Lonnie Henthorne from the
Social Security Administration, an agency of the United States
of America. It is the intention of this resolution that Lonnie
Henthorne receive from the City of Little Rock a sum necessary,

when added to the foregoing sources of income, to equal the
salary received by Lonnie Henthorne on the date of his dis-
ability retirement.
SECTION 2. The Director of Finance is hereby autho-
rized and directed to calculate monthly the sum necessary to
be paid by the City of Little Rock as a supplement to other
sources of income herein mentioned to cause Lonnie Henthorne
to receive the sum from all sources of Three Hundred Fifty-
Five and No/100 Dollars ($355.00) per month before necessary
deductions and withholdings.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
