A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF THE
CLAIM OF OWEN CASH FOR DAMAGES SUSTAINED
TO HIS VEHICLE IN THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED
FIFTY DOLLARS ($250.00) ARISING FROM A
COLLISION WITH A CITY-OWNED VEHICLE; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, on the 25th day of February, 1966, a City-owned
vehicle collided with a vehicle belonging to Owen Cash, and,
as a result thereof, Mr. Cashts vehicle was damaged in the sum
of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) ; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Little Rock to
award payment to Owen Cash for the damages to his vehicle upon
receipt of releases in favor of the City of Little Rock, its
agents and employees ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The claim of Owen Cash in the sum of Two Hund-
red Fifty Dollars ($250.00) for damages to his vehicle, result-
ing from a collision between it and a City-owned vehicle, is
hereby acknowledged and accepted.
SECTION 2. The City Manager and Director of Finance are
hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary warrant
or warrants in payment of the claim referred to in Section 1
upon receipt from Owen Cash of a release in form as prepared
by the office of the City Attorney, running in favor of the
City of Little Rock, its agents and employees.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
