A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO
A CONTRACT DATED NOVEviBER 1, 1965 BETWEEN
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND COWLING & ROARK.;
AUTHORIZING .EXECUTION THEREOF; AND FUR OTHER
URPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. A proposed amendment to the contract
dated November 1, 1965 by and between the City of Little
Rock and Cowling . Roark, Architects is hereby approved.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute for and in behalf
of the City of Little Rock a document entitled ".amendment
to Agreement between Owner and Architect, dated November 1,
1965" which instrument is in words and form as follows:

AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN
OWNER AND ARCHITECT DATED NOVEMBER 11_ 1965
In accordance with the provisions of Article 12 , titled
"Successors and Assigns" of agreement between Owner and Architect
dated November 1 , 1965 , to which this amendment is attached, it
is agreed by and between the parties hereto that said agreement
between Owner and Architect dated November 1 , 1965 , is amended
to substitute as architect Dan Cowling , successor to Dan Cowling
and Price Roark, d/b/a Cowling and Roark, in place of Dan Cowling
and Price Roark, d/b/a Cowling and Roark, it being understood and
agreed that said agreement is in all other respects reaffirmed
, and that architectural services for which provisions therein made

shall in all respects be performed by Dan Cowling .

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption provided, however,
that the executed agreement shall not be delivered or of
any force or effect until the City of Little Rock shall
receive a letter of release from Price Roark waiving
any rights against the City of Little Rock under the
original contract dated November 1, 1965.
