A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING TH 6 BIDS OF VARIOUS
BIDDERS FOR TRUCKS FOR USE BY THE SEVERAL
DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and
bids received pursuant thereto for the purchase of numerous
trucks of differing size and specifications; and,
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and
bids received pursuant thereto for the sale of certain
trucks owned by the City of Little Rock; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Little Rock
to accept the best bid in each case and to authorize the
purchase respectively to the best bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE C3 TY OF LITTLE :MOCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock does hereby
accept the bids of the various persons for the items and
at the price hereinafter set forth, each having been found
to be the lowest responsible and responsive bid, as follows:

SECTION 2, The Bid of R. L. Wilder for five (5) trucks
owned by the City of Little Rock in the total sum of
One Thousand Nine Hundred Forty Two and 50/100 Dollars
($1, 942.50) is hereby accepted. The bid of G & M Flying
Service in the sum of Seven Hundred Two and 00/100 Dollars
($702.00) for a two yard dump truck owned by the City of
Little Rock is hereby accepted.
Sr:CTION 3. Upon delivery of the trucks and vehicles
referred to above and more particularly described in the
specifications and bid proposal of the successful bidders,
the City Manager and Director of Finance are authorized
and directed to execute the necessary warrant or warrants.
SECTION 4. Upon payment of the purchase price for
the City owned vehicles by the successful bidders described
above the City Manager is authorized and directed to - accept
any and all documents of title and transfer conveying title
to the successful bidder.
SECTION 5. This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its ai.doption.
