3512 RESOLUTION NO. 3,512 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A DEED GRANTING RIGHT-OF-WAY ACROSS CERTAIN CITY OWNED LANDS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute a dedication deed in form and substance as described in Section 2 hereof grant- ing to the public certain rights across lands more spec- ifically stated in said deed, which lands are the subject of condemnation proceedings by the City of Little Rock for use in the development and construction of a port and industrial park. The City Clerk, following execution of the said dedication deed, shall file same of record or cause same to be filed or recorded with the Circuit Clerk and ex officio recorder for Pulaski County, Arkansas at the same time as said lands shall be condemned and taken by the City of Little Rock as aforesaid. SECTION 2. The dedication deed referred to in Section 1, which deed includes the description of lands dedicated, shall be in form and substance as follows: D E D I C A T I O N D E E D KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, on the 21st day of February, 1966, by Resolution No . authorized and directed the Mayor, together with the City Clerk, to dedicate to the public certain property owned by the City, hereinafter described. NOW, THEREFORE, we, H. E. Henson, Jr . , Mayor, and Pauline Beeson, City Clerk, respectively, of the City of Little Rock, a municipal corporation organized, chartered and existing under the authority of the laws of the State of Arkansas, for and in con- sideration of the benefits to be derived by it and by the public, do hereby dedicate to the public the following lands lying and Little Rock, County of being situated in the City of/Pulaski, State of Arkansas, to-wit: A parcel of land situated in Pulaski County, Arkansas, being part of the Fractional NW' of Section 15, T-1-N, R-11-W of the 5th Principal Meridian and being more parti- cularly described as follows: Beginning at a point in the centerline of Fourche Bayou and the centerline of an existing private road, said point being 430. 7 feet South and 527.0 feet East of the Northwest corner of said Section 15 ; thence 10.0 feet each side of a line running S 85°25 ' E, 648.25 feet along the centerline of said private road; thence 10.0 feet each dde of a line running S 69°25 ' E approximately 760 feet to a point, said point being approximately 50 feet West of the ordinary High Water Line of the Arkansas River, said Ordinary High Water Line being the East line of a perpetual easement of the United States of America Tract No. 142E-1; thence 10.0 feet each side of a line running Southeasterly parallel to and 50 feet West of said Ordin- ary High Water Line approximately 2,335 feet to a point on the South line of a tract of land the Little Rock Port and Industrial District proposes to purchase, said point being 965 .2 feet North and 1,409 .1 feet East of the Southwest corner of Fractional NEk, NEB, Section 15, T-1-N, R-11-W of the 5th Principal Meridian, containing 1.7 acres, more or less. r - 2 - said property being dedicated to the public to be used as a public road.
