A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO SAM VOGEL
FOR HIS SERVICES ON THE LITTLE ROCK CITIZENS
TRAFFIC SAFETY COMMISSION; AUTHORIZING A
CERTIFICATE OF AP?RECIATION; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Sam Vogel has served on the Little Rock
Citizens Traffic Safety Commission for three (3) years and
during the later part of his tenure served as chairman thereof;
and,
WHEREAS, the contribution by Sam Vogel to the said
commission and to the Citizens of Little Rock has been notable
and outstanding; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors
to register its appreciation and give just credit to Sam Vogel
for his outstanding contribution to the welfare of this City.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Mr. Sam Vogel is hereby commended for his
outstanding dedication to purpose as expressed through his efforts
and effectiveness on the Little Rock Citizens Traffic Safety
Commission, and this Board of Directors extends its deep
gratitude and appreciation to Sam Vogel.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is directed to prepare
for the signature of this Board of Directors a certificate
appropriately worded evidencing the gratitude of the City of
Little Rock for the public service of Sam Vogel.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
