A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE LITTLE ROCK
MUNICIPAL AIRPORT COMMISSION FOR UNDER-
TAKING AND COMPLETING A LONG RANGE STUDY
FOR PHYSICAL IMPROVEMENT NT OF AIRPORT
FACILITIES; ENCOURAGING THE IMPLeTTATIOQ
THEREOF; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, The Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission,
through the rim of Coston, Frankfurt & Short, has undertaken a
study of needed physical improvement at the Little Rock Municipal
Airport; and,
WHEREAS, said study has been completed and is contained
in a report entitled, "Long Range Development Plan for Little
Rock Municipal Airport; " and,
WHEREAS, the early implementation of this plan would
serve the best interests of Little Rock and Pulaski County,
Arkansas.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE. ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission
is hereby commended for having undertaken and caused to be made
a study of needed improvements at the Little Rock Municipal
Airport, the results of which are clearly and attractively pre-
sented in the document entitled, "Long Range Development Plan
for Little Rock Municipal Airport, " prepared by Coston, Frank-
furt & Short, Consultants.
SECTION 2. The Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission
is hereby encouraged and urged to make every possible effort
at the earliest practicable time designed to accomplish the
needed changes and improvements reflected in said report within
the capabilities of the said Little Rock Municipal Airport
Commission.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
