A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE MEMBERS OF THE
HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION FOR VALUABLE
AND GENEROUS EFFORT IN BEHALF OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby acknowledges receipt of the
recommendation of the Historic District Commission appointed
pursuant to authority of Section 26-56 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Little Rock and makes public its awareness of the
considerable time and effort expended by each of its members

in behalf of the high purposes of an Historic District.
SECTION 2. This Board of Directors does hereby commend
and extends its deep and sincere appreciation to each member of
the Historic District Commission for his generous giving of time
and energy in behalf of the City of Little Rock and its citizens.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
