A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING DISABILITY
RETIREMENT PAY TO MR. JOE MARTIN UNDER
SECTION 2-24 OF THE CODE OF OR2DINANCES
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Disability retirement pay is hereby
authorized and approved for Mr. Joe Martin, a City of Little
Rock employee who retired on October 16, 1965, because of
Physical disability.
SECTION 2. Under and pursuant to Section 2-24
of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas
it is declared to be the policy of this City to pay disabled
employees at the rate of one month' s pay for each year of service
prior to disability on which basis the said Joe Martin is found
to be entitled to receive pay at the rate of Two Hundred Sixty
Five and no/100 Dollars ($255.00) per month for a period commencing
January 1, 1966 and ending September 26, 1967 at 5:00 a.m.
SECTION 3. The City Manager and Director of Finance
are hereby directed and authorized to issue the necessary
warrant monthly in compliance herewith.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
