A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF AMERICAN
LA FRANCE FOR ONE (1) 100 FOOT AERIAL LADDER
TRUCK IN THE SUM OF FORTY SIX THOUSAND FOUR
DOLLARS AND 95/100 ($46,004.95) ; AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received pursuant to law for one (1) 100 foot aerial ladder; and,
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bid was
the bid of American La France in the sum of Forty Six Thousand
and Four Dollars and 95/100 ($46,004.95) ; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors to
accept the said bid and to purchase the designated vehicles
from American La France;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The bid of American La France for one (1)
100 foot aerial ladder, in the sum of Forty Six Thousand and
Four Dollars and 95/100 ($46,004.95) is hereby accepted. The
said equipment shall be furnished in exact compliance with the
specifications provided bidders and in accordance with the bid
proposal.
SECTION 2. Upon receipt of the equipment complying
with the specifications, the City Manager and Director of
Finance are authorized and directed to execute and deliver

the necessary warrant or warrants in payment of the purchase
price.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
