A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A
PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PETITION OF
YELLOW CAB COMPANY FOR ADDITIONAL
TAXI-CABS IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Yellow Cab Company, a business entity operating
within the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as a taxi-cab busi-
ness, has petitioned the Board of Directors of the City of
Little Rock for authority to place in operation additional taxi-
cabs within the city limits of Little Rock; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary that such a request be made the
subject of a public hearing of which due notice is given accord-
ing to law and it is the desire of the Board of Directors to fix
a date for such a hearing and to make such findings pursuant to
a public hearing as shall be warranted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1 . The regular meeting of the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, at 7:30 p.m. on December 6,
1965, is hereby fixed and established as the date for a public
hearing upon the petition of Yellow Cab Company for the addition
of taxi-cabs to its presently authorized number. The Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock solicits the presence and
argument of all interested citizens at the said public hearing.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
