RESOLUTION NO. 3,411
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF EAGLE
SIGNAL DIVISION OF THE E. W. BLISS COM-
PANY FOR A TRAFFIC CONTROLLER FOR USE AT
U. S. HIGHWAY 67-70 AT THE MEADOWCLIFF
ENTRANCE; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT THEREFOR;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly published
according to law and bids received pursuant thereto for
one (1) traffic controller for use at U. S. Highway
67-70 at the Meadowcliff Entrance in the City of Little
Rock; and,
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive
bid received was the bid of Eagle Signal Division of the
E. W. Bliss Company in the sum of One Thousand Seven Hun-
dred Sixty-Four and 90/100 Dollars ($1,764.90) ; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock to accept the bid
of Eagle Signal Division of the E. W. Bliss Company in
the aforesaid sum and authorize payment for the equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The bid of Eagle Signal Division
of the E. W. Bliss Company in the sum of One Thousand
Seven Hundred Sixty-Four and 90/100 Dollars ($1, 764.90)
for one (1) three movement volume density traffic con-
troller in compliance with the bidding specifications
and for use at the intersection of U. S. Highway 67-70
at the Meadowcliff entrance in the City of Little Rock
is hereby accepted.

SECTION 2. Upon receipt of the equipment, in
full compliance with the specifications, the City Manager
and Director of Finance are hereby authorized and directed
to issue the necessary warrant or warrants in payment of
the purchase price.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full
force and effect from and after its adoption.
