3 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT FOR THE RESERVOIR
4 PARK PARKING LOT RESTORATION PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER
5 PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for the Reservoir Park Parking Lot Restoration Project, under Bid
8 No. 13-121, and J's Construction Company, Inc., submitted the lowest responsive, responsible bid
9 meeting specifications in the amount of Fifty-Five Thousand, Four Hundred Sixty-Five and 85/100
10 Dollars ($55,465.85), being Fifty Thousand, Four Hundred Twenty-Three and 50/100 Dollars
11 ($50,423.50)plus 10%contingencies;
12 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
13 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with J's Construction
15 Company, Inc., the for Reservoir Park Parking Lot Restoration Project, Bid No. 13-121, in the amount of
16 Fifty-Five Thousand, Four Hundred Sixty-Five and 85/100 Dollars ($55,465.85), being Fifty Thousand,
17 Four Hundred Twenty-Three and 50/100 Dollars($50,423.50), plus 10%contingencies.
18 Section 2. Funding is available from the 2012%-Cent Capital Sales Tax Project Funds.
19 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
20 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
21 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
22 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
23 resolution.
24 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
25 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
26 Section 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
