A RESOLUTION COMMENDING CHIEF R. E. BRIANS AND ALL
MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION I . The Board of Directors does hereby with
pride and humility commend to the citizens of this community
Chief of Police R. E. Brians and all members and employees of
the Police Department of the City of Little Rock for dedicated
and devoted law enforcement, devoid of bias or prejudice or
favoritism, taking special note of the fact that the Department
does not hesitate to charge one of its own members with a
criminal offense when, in their opinirn , the evidence justifies
such . Such action is in complete accord with the policy of the
Board of Directors and, we believe, meets with the approval of
the citizens of the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
